We are looking for an experienced colleague for the position of IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist for the newly built IT Asset Management Global Competence Centre (GCC) located in the Czech Republic, which will provide IT services to internal customers across the whole Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), operating mainly in Central and Eastern Europe. The GCC is responsible for the delivery of information and administration of data regarding Group-wide IT assets to other stakeholders within VIG Group (e.g. Cyber Defense Center, Group Procurement, etc.).

In this role, you will be directly responsible for the design, documentation, deployment, and adoption of the ITAM processes in the organization across VIG Group.

Key responsibilities:

* Designing and deploying ITAM processes (both related to HAM and SAM) in VIG entities across VIG Group
* Designing and maintaining the ITAM repository in ServiceNow platform, including relevant attributes and tables (HW assets, SW assets, contracts, entitlements, foundation data, etc.)
* Determining the most effective ways of data collection and maintaining the process of IT asset data collection over time.
* Visualizing data using tools such as PowerBI or similar tools
* Detecting and tracking gaps, inconsistencies, and/or missing expected data either from automated or manually edited sources
* Cooperating with VIG entities to implement ITAM processes, collect data, resolve data discrepancies, or license gaps, etc. Provide guidance and trainings to VIG entities, share ITAM know-how
* Cooperating with Group Procurement, Finance, or other stakeholders to negotiate and purchase HW/SW assets, provide financial insight, cooperate on budget preparation, etc.
* Calculate TCO related to HW and SW assets for new projects or initiatives
* Performing license reviews regularly to verify and evaluate license position using ServiceNow SAM module
* Defending software audits

What will you need:

* Czech – native speaker, English – working proficiency
* Excellent knowledge of the IT Asset Management processes and best practices as well as its design and deployment
* Knowledge of software licensing and license terms understanding and interpretation
* Ability to read and understand contracts related to HW/SW assets.
* Understanding basics of IT finance (CapEx/OpEx, budgeting, depreciation, etc.)
* Experience and working knowledge of IT infrastructure: hardware/virtualization/containerization/OS, application SW (DBs, application servers, web servers, etc.), public Cloud and cloud services
* Be a team player and ability to collaborate
* Good communication, planning and organizing
* Ability to cope with stress and to work independently
* Critical thinking, accuracy, empathy and understanding, flexibility and adaptability
* Think “outside the box”, time management abilities, customer focused
