Software Development and Release Manager
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Software Development and Release Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Development, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our software development efforts forward. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to managing software requirements, prioritizing development tasks, conducting status meetings, and contributing to software documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a backlog of software requirements using Microsoft DevOps.
- Prioritize software development tasks based on project goals and deadlines.
- Conduct daily status meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination within the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive software documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in software development and release management roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft DevOps or similar project management tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong English proficiency, both written and verbal.
