Senior Data Engineer/Analyst for international bank in Prague

If you are a highly skilled data engineer/analyst with a deep understanding of Big Data technologies and a talent for optimizing data solutions, we want to hear from you! Join 4KYC project, focusing on digitalizing and automating paper-based KYC processes for private customers. The team works with a microservices and event-driven architecture, using BPM with Camunda and a tech stack including Kotlin, GCP, Kafka, and Postgres SQL. SCRUM team of 10-15 members is based in Prague and Frankfurt.

Main Purpose of the Role:

• Model and process data for visualizations and machine learning solutions.
• Design robust data pipelines within a regulatory environment.
• Liaise with business and development teams to ensure effective communication and solution delivery.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ETL/ELT hand-coding.
• Experience in designing data pipelines.
• Strong command of Big Data technologies (GCP is a plus).
• Skills in monitoring, performance tuning, and debugging execution plans.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience in data processing for AI models.
• Personal qualities: team spirit, self-starter, self-learner, attention to detail, and open-mindedness.
• Prior experience working in a large company with complex infrastructure and processes, interfacing with multiple cross-border teams and senior stakeholders.
