Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience
  
• Advanced knowledge of PHP 7+, MySQL/MariaDB
  
• Strong understanding of WordPress themes & plugin architecture
  
• Solid JavaScript (ES6+) with hands-on experience in React or Vue
  
• Experience working with RESTful APIs (especially WP REST API)
  
• Comfortable with Git, Docker, and basic CI/CD principles
  
• Proven experience integrating CRM platforms (Pipedrive, HubSpot, etc.)
  
• Passion for AI tools, eagerness to learn and apply new tech
  
• Fluent English (written and verbal) for documentation and cross-functional collaboration

? About the Role

Masada is a newly launched Israeli startup specializing in real estate investments in Ukraine for international clients. As we build our digital foundation from the ground up, we’re looking for a versatile WordPress developer with strong backend chops, CRM/API experience, and an eye for smart AI integrations (“playing” with them).

This is a founding tech hire opportunity. You’ll help architect, build, and launch two high-impact sites—both deeply integrated with CRM and AI tools—and shape the development culture of a fast-moving startup.

? Core Responsibilities

? WordPress Development

• Build custom WordPress websites from scratch
  
• Develop and implement custom themes and plugins (PHP 7+, MySQL)
  
• Build headless or hybrid WordPress setups using React or Vue

? Frontend & Design Integration

• Collaborate closely with our designer to launch two high-quality WordPress websites
  
• Translate Figma/mockups into responsive, accessible, component-based templates

? CRM & API Integrations

• Connect WordPress with CRM platforms like Pipedrive, HubSpot (or equivalents) via REST API
• Automate lead capture, form workflows, and data sync pipelines

? AI Tools & Automation - will be a plus

• Integrate AI-based features (chatbots, content generation, etc.) using OpenAI / Azure APIs
  
• Prototype and deploy AI workflows in collaboration with product stakeholders

⚙ DevOps & Infrastructure

• Set up and manage Docker-based hosting environments and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Optimize performance, enforce security best practices, and configure automated backups

? Collaboration & Code Quality

• Git-based workflows (PRs, reviews, branching strategy)
  
• Mentor junior contractors; define documentation and deployment architecture
