Technical Support Specialist - 1st level

We are looking for a local first level IT support technician. You will be part of the EMEA IT support team and provide 1st level support to all users for the Ostrava/Prague office locally and the entire region remotely.
The main responsibilities for the role:
- Provide technical support for users in the EMEA region, their client computers running Windows and the local technical infrastructure
- Set up new client computers or reinstall for further use
- Provide IT related introduction training for new hires
- Liaise with IT operation colleagues in order to resolve local issues, resolve tickets assigned within the IT helpdesk ticket system and escalate tickets as appropriate
- Test and support implementation of new IT technologies
Further duties will include:
- Report to the regional IT management about your activities
- Take over other IT related duties as business requires it
- Follow and enforce IT policies
- Documentation
You may impress if you have experience with:
- Customer facing or service position
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of client hardware, operating systems (Windows) and applications
- Network topologies, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Fluent English
You should be able to handle technically:
- OS Windows 10/11
- MS Office Suite
- HW systems support
- Cloud computing (Office 365)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Apple products
- Vendor management
