Tax Team Supervisor @ Devire

Requirements

• Experience in preparation of VAT returns
• Practical knowledge of taxes (incl. income tax)
• Higher education (preferred faculties: finance, economics, accounting, taxes)
• Very good knowledge of English (German would be an asset)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
• Analytical skills, good organization of work and readiness to learn
• Knowledge of European tax regulations will be an advantage

For our Client, an international company, we are currently looking for a Tax Team Supervisor, with extensive experience in VAT accounting.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of VAT for the group companies in Europe
• Managing a Team of VAT Specialists
• Communication with internal customers to clarify doubts and inaccuracies
• Control of recognition of economic events in terms of correctness of tax settlements
• Cooperation with other accounting departments in order to minimize the risk of errors affecting tax settlements
• Analysis and reconciliation of tax accounts
• Support during the annual audit
• Ongoing monitoring of changes in tax regulations
• Contact with tax offices, participation in tax audits
