Requirements

• Proven negotiation and at least 5 years procurement experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of contract management and legal aspects of supplier agreements.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage change and drive process improvements.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), with a strong technical/commercial background.

For our client, Scandinavian production company, with its production plants across Europe, we are looking for a motivated Strategic  Buyer to join  global team. In this role, you will be responsible for securing reliable supply of materials, managing supplier relationships, and contributing to global and regional category strategies. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute and contribute to category strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead sourcing activities including RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Manage supplier onboarding, material changes, and service implementation.
• Support system and process optimization, focusing on global and regional standardization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, mainly regional, and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Finance).
• Drive global procurement KPIs and ensure compliance with company policies
