Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Product Manager, overseeing an R&D team, including BA, UX, Tech Arch, CS, and more.
  • 8+ years experience working as a Business Analyst, producing detailed BRDs, including user stories, flow diagrams, and more.
  • Ability to display sound judgment and accomplish goals.
  • Able to communicate with various stakeholders from sales, customer success, engineering, and executives, who sometimes have conflicting opinions.
  • Able to meet product release deadlines, necessary to coordinate a successful launch cross-department with sales, marketing, customer success, and other teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Must be an expert Product Manager and highly skilled at keeping your team motivated and focused on the highest priorities.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise software product development and high-level system diagrams
  • Fundamental knowledge in Customer Engagement, Appointment Schedulers, and Salesforce CRM or equivalent technologies.
  • EXTRA CREDIT: Technical expertise with the Salesforce platform.

We are seeking a tremendously passionate SaaS Product Manager to be responsible for maintaining an innovative product roadmap that continues to differentiate SUMO in the market.  You are a strategic creative mind, detail oriented, deadline focused, and capable of partnering with our Product Owner, UX Designers, Technical Architects, and Customer Success executives to ensure product releases meet your vision.

,[Work with the Product Design Team to identify detailed business requirements to support our product roadmap and customer requests within the scope of prioritized initiatives., Develop comprehensive functional specification documents, configuration designs, use cases, test conditions, test scripts., Deliver industry-leading products and user experiences by combining a deep understanding of business strategy with creative product strategy and technical acumen. , Develop relationships with customers (external and internal), gather and understand their feedback on existing products and unmet needs, conduct effective interviews to better understand the context, pressures, and complete understanding of the problems they need to solve. Using this data and acquired intuition to plan, prioritize and scope our products to deliver the right solutions. , Own and drive the product lifecycle from ideation through implementation and launch. That includes owning and driving the product roadmap to deliver maximum customer and business value. , Develop communications material, value propositions, and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally. , Advocate for new features with qualitative and quantitative reasoning. Prioritize features strategically; maintain the authority to say “no” to requests that don’t align with vision. , Own requirements definition by hosting internal and external discovery sessions,  create BRD (business requirement documents) including user stories, business process diagrams, functional and non-functional requirements, for incoming product requests and future products. , Work closely with Engineering and QA teams to assign and prioritize features in every release. Collaborate with Product Design, Tech Architects, and Customer Success to ensure product-market fit.
