Site Reliability Engineer @ Mindbox S.A.

Must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar Computing discipline
• Proven Experience in a similar role, with a focus on reliability engineering, systems administration and/or Devops
• Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps development practices
• Hands on experience of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation for on-prem and cloud environment
• Hands on experience of test automation design and implementation for front end and back-end components
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Unix shell or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (preferably GCP) and experience with IaC tools (e.g terraform)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and ELF stack or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams located remotely.

 Technical skills:

• Java, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Python, Shell, Groovy, terraform, Helm, Docker, Terraform
• Application monitoring and test automation best practice and tools
• Working with API and micro service technologies
• Databases (PostgreSQL)
• Cloud technologies: (GCP)

 Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Financial Risk management in banking or financial industry
• Knowledge specific to the Traded Risk domain
• Knowledge of OLAP and ETL
• Knowledge of new and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, AI etc
• Python, SPARK
• Columnar Database (Clickhouse)
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scrum master knowledge or certified, or PMP certified.
• FRM or CFA certified

We are seeking a talented and experienced Service Reliability Engineer to join a dynamic team.  As a SRE you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of our services and infrastructure.  You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to design, implement and maintain robust systems that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
