• 10+ years of experience with Oracle databases (12c–19c) in RAC (ASM) production environments
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, and Data Pump
• Hands-on experience with FSFO, including setup, monitoring, and failover scenarios
• Strong skills in Linux system administration
• Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) microservices and replication processes
• Familiarity with OEM architecture and performance monitoring
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes (change & incident management)
• Experience handling Oracle SRs and delivering high-stakes database support
• Self-driven mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English for daily communication

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience in regulated industries such as banking or finance
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud migration strategies

About the project:

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support a mission-critical service continuity project for a leading financial institution. You will be part of a high-performing infrastructure team responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and integrity of complex Oracle-based systems used across production and pre-production environments.

This role focuses on the implementation of FSFO (Fast-Start Failover), standby rebuilds, database patching, troubleshooting RAC clusters, and managing Oracle GoldenGate microservices. Youll also handle database migrations, performance optimization, and support automation in a secure, enterprise-grade ecosystem.
