- 10+ years professional Java development experience, with deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency control, and memory management.

- Hands-on experience with **Tomcat** +, **servlet-based architectures**, and long-lived middleware systems.

- Strong track record of **modernizing legacy systems** (e.g., modularization, containerization readiness).

- Extensive experience with **unit and integration testing**, mocking, and test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

- Proven ability to deep-dive into large unfamiliar codebases and quickly become productive.

- Experience maintaining or extending **Zimbra**, or comparable large open-source systems (Postfix, Dovecot, etc.) is highly desirable.

- Comfortable working independently in a small-team environment, with limited handholding.
