Senior Java Engineer @ AVENGA (Agencja Pracy, nr KRAZ: 8448)

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development
• Strong skills in Java (JDK 17+), Spring, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and REST/OpenAPI
  
• Practical knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and micro/modular services
  
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD
  
• A strong grasp of testing strategies, including TDD, clean code practices, and daily code reviews
  
• Exposure to event-driven architecture using Kafka
  
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to independently deliver and take full responsibility for features end-to-end — from technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, to maintenance
  
• Fluent English communication skills, comfortable engaging directly with business stakeholders based in San Francisco
  
• Availability to attend two regular sync meetings per week with the US (around 5 PM). This is a great opportunity to shape a modern platform with a tangible impact in the biotech and research domain
