Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
• 10+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong skills in Java Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, RabbitMQ
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Skilled in API design and maintenance
• Proficient in relational databases and query optimization
• Familiar with testing approaches and code validation
• Knowledge of browser debugging techniques
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Agile methodology experience (SAFe is a plus)
• Kafka and architectural design experience are a plus
• Willingness to learn Kotlin and Quarkus if not already familiar

Start Date: ASAP / within 1 month / flexible
Work Model: 100% Remote
Contract Type: B2B (170–190 PLN/h + VAT)

Join a dynamic Agile team building underwriting tools for a global community of underwriters. These tools model the underwriting process and integrate pricing mechanisms, forming the core of our client’s value chain.

We use a modern microservice architecture with technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Spring on the backend, and Angular, NodeJS, Express, Fastify on the frontend.

Tech Stack:
Java Core (11, 17), Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, RabbitMQ
