• Competence and experience in full-stack web development (React/Angular + Typescript, Python)
• Proficiency in Python (Java, C++ or Ruby experience can substitute for Python in a candidate who is open to learning new technologies)
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
• Competence and experience in backend software development and data pipelines including experience with data streaming technologies and batch processes
• Strong problem solving and solution design skills
• Experience working in cloud-deployed platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud
• Product and customer orientation

Nice to have:

• Experience developing web-based SaaS applications
• Experience as a Software Engineer at a software product company, preferable in an enterprise market

Your impact:

We are seeking a high caliber Senior Full-Stack Engineer to be part of our growing team. This role is primarily focused on back-end development of StreetLight SaaS web applications (InSight Planning, InSight Operations) that our subscription customers use to explore and visualize travel patterns in the real world. While the core responsibilities lie in server-side programming, the position also involves occasional collaboration on front-end tasks.
