• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years managing engineering teams in big (global) organisation
• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-scale software systems
• Experience mentoring and growing engineering talent, including senior engineers and tech leads
• Strong technical foundation with (past) hands-on experience in modern software development (e.g., cloud (preferably AWS) platforms, Java, Spring, CI/CD, middleware MQ/SQS) and post release system support
• Knowledge of latest technology trends and concepts
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work across disciplines and influence stakeholders
• Experienced in making technical and strategic decisions
• Be results-oriented – with evidence of delivering against KPI, improving DORA metrics
