Senior Cloud Engineer - GCP @ SoftBlue S.A.

• 5+ years of experience with public cloud (GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes),
• Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python, Bash, or Go), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet),
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (GitLab, ArgoCD), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver), and logging (ELK),
• Experience with BigQuery, Postgres or Firestore,
• Strong understanding of networking, performance tuning, backups, and troubleshooting in production,
• Very good English speaking and writing skills - minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial institutions or other regulated industries, including cooperation with auditors,
• Familiarity with DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics,
• Ability to design scalable AI/ML architectures using Google Cloud services,
• Hands-on experience integrating tools with AI models such as Gemini, Vertex AI, or ChatGPT,
• Experience building data visualizations and reports in Looker Studio.

As a Cloud Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a cloud-native, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Youll support a robust infrastructure supporting financial products like digital onboarding, payments, accounts, and lending. Working closely with the Cloud and software engineering teams, your efforts will ensure high availability, security, and scalability across the platform.
