Youre ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience in IT projects for the banking or financial sector
• Practical experience in specifying business processes, functional and quality requirements, data models, and system integration
• Knowledge of methods for gathering requirements and preparing system specifications
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Good command of English at B2 level
• Experience in system analysis and writing clear documentation
• Familiarity with change management in IT projects

Nice to have:

• Experience in the development of settlement systems such as Elixir, Express Elixir, Sorbet, SEPA, Target
• Knowledge of system architecture concepts (EIP integration patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, microservices, REST)
• Knowledge of one of the exploration techniques: Event Storming, Domain Story Telling, User Story Mapping, Example Mapping
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD – strategic level)
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Knowledge of GIT
• Familiarity with Diagram as Code and Model as Code techniques
• Knowledge of testing strategy and automation concepts
• Ability to read code at a basic level
• Ability to use AI to optimize work

As a Senior Business-System Analyst, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on a project focused on the development and maintenance of payment settlement systems across Polish and European markets. This role involves close cooperation with IT and business teams to ensure high-quality system analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, helping to shape the direction of financial solutions in a dynamic, regulated environment.
