Official job title: Variable Incentive Operations Manager

As Operations Manager in the Field Operations organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our variable incentive plans are executed fairly, accurately and timely. You’ll manage and shape how we operationalize our incentive plans, and how we put in place best-in-class practices for managing exceptions, targets and plan performance. You’ll have a direct influence on how thousands of our employees are motivated to create value for our partners and drive company performance!

What you’ll do:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of analysts to operationalize incentive plans, ensuring accurate bonus calculations, accruals, and application of terms and conditions using Excel models and incentive compensation systems.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Review team outputs for accuracy, oversee adherence to approval processes, maintain documentation for changes and approvals. Support compliance requirements and audit requests.

  • Operations Management: Own and manage the timely delivery of accrual files, bonus pay-files, incentive compensation statements, resolution of exception requests and disputes as per established processes.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Payroll, Accounting, and Commercial leaders to set out operational processes, realistic deadlines, resolve disputes, identify pain-points and communicate outcomes efficiently.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements, develop standard operating procedures, and drive adoption of best practices for efficiency and consistency.

  • Data Management & Reporting: Collaborate with data owners to ensure data quality, manage data flows into/out of compensation systems, and provide regular reporting on plan performance and simulation analysis to support business decisions.

  • Change Management: Anticipate business developments, assist the rollout of changes to incentive plans, and own the implementation of updates to incentive models, calculation logic, reports and systems in step with plan changes.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, any STEM or similar subject

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Data Analytics or related/ equivalent field

  • Must have expertise in MS Excel (advanced functions, lookups, pivots, macros, data analysis)

  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a big plus.

  • Must have strong analytical ability and attention-to-detail to analyse large datasets and ensure delivery accuracy.

  • Methodical and process-oriented to be able to set up and manage standard operating procedures and controls.

  • Experience in incentive compensation management systems (e.g., SAP Commissions, CaptivateIQ, Varicent) is a plus.

  • Able to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.

  • Experience in people management or interest in developing these skills; effective at coaching teams and collaborating across functions and geographies.

  • Comfortable with IT solutions, working with product managers and developers, and navigating complex, matrixed organizations to resolve issues and deliver results.
