B2B Business Development Manager - Payments, Money remittance @ Opal Transfer Ltd
You’ll Succeed If You Have:
- 3–7+ years of experience in project management in fintech, payments, or money remittance
- Understanding of money transfer business models, corridors, and regulatory considerations (KYC/AML, FCA or PSD2)
- Experience in vendor/partner selection and onboarding (criteria - pricing, compliance, integrations, legal agreements)
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to lead various projects in parallel
- A structured, goal-oriented thinker who can make complex topics simple
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive, upbeat team player who gets things done — and gets them done through others
- Comfortable working remotely, independently, and with AI-powered tools

Opal Transfer is a UK and EU regulated money remittance company serving migrants and international communities with fast, transparent, and trusted money transfer solutions across UK and EU. We are currently undergoing a major platform transition while expanding our international payment partnerships and improving our client-facing digital experience.
We’re now looking for an experienced, structured, and energetic Businaa Development Manager — someone who thrives in complexity, communicates clearly, and can manage multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish.
This role is new and a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO and have end-to-end ownership over high-impact projects in a evolving fintech environment.
Ongoing and Future Projects:
- Work on continuous function and product enhancements for our clients in digital platforms
- Run partner selection and onboarding projects (payment providers, new international money transfer corridor partners, AML vendors and others)
- Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure delivery against scope and timeline
- Use AI tools to streamline your own work (task tracking, meeting summaries, draft writing, planning)
