Our requirements

• Knowledge and experience in Broadcast Automation area are highly desirable.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, including MariaDB and Aurora.
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in reporting.
• Understanding of Networking fundamentals, particularly TCP/IP
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, typically up to 10% per year.

Degree in IT, Computer science, Electronics and Broadcast Technology or similar degrees

The Projects team delivers a highly scalable, infrastructure-agnostic platform for Media Asset Management, Transmission Playout and Non-Linear delivery applications.

Mediator-X is an enterprise-class platform that can run on private or public cloud infrastructure as well as dedicated hardware.
This role will see the successful applicant working with a team to deliver enterprise-level solutions to the world’s leading Broadcast and Media institutions.

There will be a variety of things to learn as part of a successful deployment of a large-scale system. You will be using skills ranging from Python, JavaScript, XML, shell, Ubuntu platforms, SQL, to Playout and IP hardware, and being involved from the start of a workflow of ingesting content to seeing it successfully get scheduled for playout on air.

You will work in an agile environment with our international teams and your work will be seen by millions.
