What need you to have:

• Experience with Unix (preferably Ubuntu), including shell scripting;
• Knowledge of networks, network protocols, and setup of the network elements;
• Experience with operations of multi-tier software systems;
• Strong and hands-on experience with troubleshooting processes to detect exact, proven root causes of incidents;
• Skills for managing a virtualized environment (containerized environment experience is highly welcomed);
• Knowledge of cloud concepts (AWS preferred);
• Knowledge of generic SQL database concepts and operations;
• Communication that leads to excellent working relationships with all parties;
• Take ownership of issue resolution;
• Quickly identify, analyze, and proactively solve problems before they affect the outcomes of the platform;
• Ability to identify and deliver improvement;
• Good English oral and written communication skills (in the areas of technical document writing).
