We are seeking a legal professional who is passionate about delivering value and can effectively prioritize and execute tasks. In this role, you will contribute to cross-functional projects, leveraging your expertise across various legal domains to ensure compliance and the timely delivery of initiatives. 

Required skills

• Demonstrated experience leading international projects, preferably involving the EU, UK, and US markets.  
• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) split between:
  
  

  A top-tier law firm or Big 4 legal practice and/or

   
  In-house at a technology-driven company. 
  Candidates who have done both will be strongly preferred. 
  
   
• Demonstrated ownership of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance and entity management, regulatory and cross-border compliance (e.g. KYC, sanctions monitoring, whistleblowing frameworks, corporate disclosures, etc.), strategic employment & HR support, rationalisation of group structure, contract drafting and negotiation, and holistic legal-risk management. 
• Experience in common law is strongly preferred. 
• Business-first, solution-oriented judgment – focus on paths forward, not roadblocks. 
• Analytical & data-driven – dig to root causes, quantify risk, back advice with evidence. 
• Clear, influential communicator – simplify complexity, negotiate deftly, keep leadership in the loop. 
• Self-starting ownership – thrive in rapid change, take the ball and run, drive continuous improvement. 
• Tech-forward collaboration – break silos, embrace AI/tools, co-create with cross-functional teams. 
• Fluency in English and professional experience working in English.

,[Your role will involve a broad and impactful set of responsibilities, including:, Project Management:  Lead complex legal projects under supervision, ensuring effective coordination with internal teams and external advisors to achieve project goals. Contribute to other initiatives by tackling complex tasks, supporting project objectives, and meeting deadlines. , Business Partnership:  Leverage expertise across multiple areas of law to provide counsel on commercial and regulatory matters. Offer actionable advice to teams such as Payments, Product Development, HR, and others, primarily focusing on operations in the EU and the US. Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments to proactively address potential risks, ensure compliance, and support business objectives. , Operational Excellence:  Manage complex operational legal tasks, including drafting and negotiating critical agreements, navigating regulatory requirements, and providing actionable legal advice to various departments. , Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate business and legal risks related to products, services, and initiatives. Develop risk management strategies that balance legal requirements with business needs. , Stakeholder Engagement:  Collaborate closely with leaders from Product, Marketing, Payments, Finance, and HR on initiatives spanning multiple regions and business areas. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations that support business growth and resilience.    , Process Improvement:  Play an active role in refining and improving legal workflows and procedures.
