Draxon GmbH (founded in November 2024) is looking for a Unity VR Developer to help shape the future of corporate VR training. You will develop scalable VR training modules, integrate AI and set standards.

Tasks

• Develop innovative VR training modules in Unity (C#), optimized for standalone headsets like Meta Quest or Pico.
• Develop immersive training scenarios in various environments in which dynamic tasks from real-life situations have to be solved
• Iteratively develop user-friendly interactions for VR.
• Optimize the performance of VR training applications, especially in terms of loading times, frame rate and memory consumption
• Ensure high code quality through continuous testing and debugging, as well as compliance with agreed code conventions
• Apply innovative AI technologies where possible to revolutionize AI assistants, test bots, dynamic scenarios and adaptive difficulty levels
• Interact closely with the team (3D generalists, game designers, senior Unity VR developers) and contribute with your expertise to a smooth development process.

Qualification

• 1-3 years experience in Unity development with C#.
• Of which at least 1 year in VR and/or gaming (more is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies is a plus, but not a must.
• First experience with performance optimization for VR.
• Structured, pragmatic and team-oriented way of working with strong communication skills, suitable for a dynamic startup.
• Fluent in German and very good English skills.
• Long-term view - you want to make a difference, not just tick things off.
