Software Developer (m/f/d) Functional Safety with a focus on engineering software

Field of activity

• Specification of engineering tools for safety controllers
• Pre-development of engineering tools for safety controllers
• Development of an automated test architecture
• Preparation, specification and maintenance of unit, module and system tests
• Review of product specifications and security concepts
• Cooperation with test centers

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, automation technology or a comparable field
• Programming language skills in C#, C++, HTML5
• Experience with safe control systems; preferably Beckhoff TwinSAFE or other manufacturers
• Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and Machinery Directive is desirable
• Solution-oriented, independent and structured way of working
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
