Experience

• 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Senior Developer role with team leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering complex enterprise systems in production environments.

Technical Skills

• Core Java & JVM: Expert-level proficiency in Java (Java 8+), with a deep understanding of JVM internals, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Frameworks & Libraries: Strong experience with Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data), Hibernate/JPA, and related enterprise libraries.
• Microservices & APIs: Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures and RESTful APIs. Exposure to gRPC and event-driven architectures is a plus.
• Databases: Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Testing & Quality: Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, TDD/BDD practices (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
• Version Control & Collaboration: Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and code review practices.

Architecture & Leadership

• Experience designing scalable, high-availability, and maintainable enterprise systems.
• Ability to perform architectural reviews, evaluate design trade-offs, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Strong experience in code quality, refactoring, and technical debt management.
• Ability to set technical direction and guide the team in adopting best practices, patterns, and tools.
• Hands-on in coding while mentoring the team — leading by example.
