IT vyučující - VŠ předměty v AJ

IFSA (Institute for Study Abroad), a US-based nonprofit organization, provides study abroad experience to students from US universities around the world. We have been present in Prague since 2017 and are excited to be starting our new program, Tech Career Accelerator, for Computer Science students in 2023! We are seeking qualified faculty to teach one or several of the following courses in our study abroad programs in Prague. The academic calendar is February to May in the Spring semester and September to December in the Fall semester. Starting February 2023.The courses are university level courses taught to third year US university Computer Science students. Each course requires 3 contact hours per week for the duration of the semester.

Computer Networks
Software Engineering
Database Management Systems

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Postgraduate (Masters or above) degree in relevant or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum level B2/C1 in English
The legal right to work in the Czech Republic, reside within commuting distance of Prague for the duration of the contract.

PREFERRED CRITERA:

One full semester or term teaching as the instructor of record a relevant higher education course OR
Two full semesters or terms teaching as a teaching assistant on a relevant higher education course
Reliable, enthusiastic and communicative; helpful and empathetic; curious, independent and flexible
Responsive to feedback and willingness to develop as an instructor
Knowledge of Prague logistics and local professional culture
Flexibility and ability to adapt and to respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations
