IT Application Manager (m/ž)

As a new member of the current six-member "IT Finance & Accounting" team, you will be comprehensively trained in the processes and projects in the areas of accounting, controlling and finance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Analysis and evaluation of change requests from the specialist departments regarding feasibility, process effects, cost-effectiveness and assumption of maintenance tasks

· Advice on system adjustments, including documentation of settings and implementation of quality assurance measures such as function and integration tests

· Further development and international implementation of existing add-on applications to the SAP system as well as planning and implementation of updates as part of an application roadmap

· Communication and coordination with application suppliers and manufacturers as well as internal IT departments

· Definition and implementation of interfaces within the ENGEL IT system landscape

· Support departments in the selection and introduction of new applications

Qualification Requirements

Education

· Commercial training with several years of relevant professional experience or a completed bachelors degree with a relevant commercial focus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· High IT and process affinity with a strong service mindset

· Flexibility, initiative and willingness to learn and understand the processes and requirements of the departments and to help shape them

· Ability to work in a team

· Strong communication skills in English (German appreciated)

· Enjoy working in a highly motivated team

· Sociable and creative
