• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, computational complexity, and concurrency/parallelism.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and bash scripting.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Experience working with scheduling and workload automation tools.
• Background in functional programming, with a preference for Haskell.

TEAM OVERVIEW:

SABRE is Analytics Booking and Risk Engine, serving as the core risk and PnL platform for Financial Markets. Our development team is a leading technology group within the bank, delivering innovative solutions to support Financial Markets and broader initiatives, including regulatory projects. We combine market expertise, scientific methods, and cutting-edge technology to tackle the challenges of competitive trading. We expect solid computer science knowledge and demonstrated typed functional experience at all levels, but you will also be responsible for architecture design, stakeholder communication, and some project management. You’ll be expected to work in both Windows and Linux environments. We use git for source control and the Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira) for code reviews, documentation and project tracking. No finance knowledge is required, but good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
