Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in GCP public cloud, including platform building. 
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform + Azure DevOps pipelines). 
• Hands-on with GCP analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Dataproc). 
• Experience with managed GCP services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE. 
• Proficient in Kubernetes deployments and app management. 
• Experience in monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting. 
• Bash scripting and Linux system administration skills. 
• Programming skills in Python and Golang. 
• Knowledge of secure authentication and encryption methods (OIDC, KMS, SSL/TLS). 

Nice to have:

• Experience building large-scale and secure applications. 
• Contributions to Open-Source projects. 
• Expertise in distributed cloud computing and storage on GCP. 
• Ability to optimize code and infrastructure for performance and cost.

GCP Platform Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior GCP Platform Engineer to join our Analytics Platform and Data Products (APDP) team within the Financial Markets department. This role focuses on Disaster Recovery as a primary area, with data ingestion potentially being added in the future.

You will help strengthen the delivery of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Analytics Platform, which forms the backbone for analytics, AI, and ML initiatives. The role involves platform engineering, IT risk assessments, and implementing cloud-ready, secure, and scalable solutions.

This is a hands-on, senior-level role requiring technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities.
