What you need to have to succeed in this role

• At least 5+ years of overall experience in Java applications/micro-services development. Solid Core Java foundation, including data structure, lambda, stream, JVM and multiple-thread.
• Knowledge of following technologies: Bash/Shell, Groovy or Java, Unix/Linux, Jenkins, GitHub,  Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Istio Service Mesh.
• Relational database operation and development experience: Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Experience in designing, building and maintaining distributed containerised platforms. Understanding of the lifecycle of software programming.
• Experience in performing unit test and API test is mandatory, performance test will be an advantage.
• Delivering CICD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Basic knowledge of Linux command and shell script.
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) required. 

Nice to have

• API design experience will be in an advantage.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker and Git, etc.

Vision of Payments Orchestration Layer (POL) is to introduce lean and reusable payment orchestration engine that will route payments from initiation through security to a successful execution. It will remove bespoke and duplicate code and insert effective touch points with specialized applications needed for the payment journey (customer channel / industry gateway, sanctions screening, fraud and money laundering prevention, generation of payments instructions, submission to payment processors, bookkeeping). It will be an enabler to deliver new product features at high speed, low cost and with the desired quality.

The program is looking for configuring the built Microservices as part of the Business Outcomes we plan to deliver. This is with the vision to make our elevated architecture capable of satisfying growing need of partners and market scheme demands for Faster Deliveries.
