Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with Sinequa or other enterprise search platforms (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch, Coveo).
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, .NET, Angular.
• Experience integrating systems using REST APIs, tools such as Postman.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with additional enterprise search platforms (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr).
• Exposure to NLP and machine learning techniques applied to search.
• Understanding of information retrieval, ranking algorithms, and relevancy tuning.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS or GCP.

Project Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Search Platform Specialist to join the Enterprise Search Platform Team, supporting a global platform powered by Sinequa and Google Cloud Search technologies. The platform enables intelligent search and knowledge discovery across the organization.
This role focuses on the lifecycle management, indexing, search performance, and search-based application development to ensure optimal platform functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Search Platform Management & Support

• Maintain and support Google Cloud Search, including content connectors and extensions (e.g., gSite SearchPlus).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform and indexing processes.
• Monitor performance and implement optimizations across the search infrastructure.

Sinequa Search Engine Implementation

• Configure, customize, and maintain the Sinequa platform based on business requirements.
• Develop search functionalities: indexing, query processing, relevancy tuning.
• Manage data ingestion via Sinequa connectors and APIs.

Search-Based Application Development

• Design and build search-driven applications integrated with enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver efficient and engaging search interfaces.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data in search applications.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure production quality.

Optimization & Performance Tuning

• Analyze and optimize search performance for speed and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot indexing and data retrieval issues.
• Continuously monitor and enhance platform efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and development teams.
• Liaise with data stewards and content owners to ensure data integrity.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

User Experience & Data Quality

• Implement intuitive, user-centered search experiences.
• Gather and incorporate user feedback to improve relevance and usability.
• Ensure data consistency via taxonomy, metadata, and tagging best practices.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with industry trends in enterprise search, NLP, and AI-powered search.
• Proactively identify opportunities to extend and improve the Sinequa platform.
