POPIS POZICE:
Position: EMEA Trade Compliance & Regulatory Advisor
Location: Tuusula, Uusimaa, Finland
Employment: Full-time, hybrid (1x/week onsite)

About the Role:
Join a global organization driving excellence in international trade operations. In this role, you will ensure that our business and distributor networks operate in full compliance with regional and international trade laws. You will develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, monitor adherence to policies, and support a culture of regulatory excellence across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and provide guidance on international trade laws impacting organizational operations.
- Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines to meet compliance and reporting obligations.
- Conduct audits and investigations, tracking outcomes and recommending improvements.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen a culture of compliance and risk awareness across teams.
- Deliver compliance reporting and training to internal stakeholders.

POŽADAVKY:
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Must be on-site in Tuusula once per week.
- Fluency in Finnish and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Juris Doctor (or equivalent), admission to a local legal authority, or a paralegal certificate required.
- Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in law or international business, preferably within import/export or global trade compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting export/import regulations and sanctions.
- Hands-on experience with global trade compliance software (ERP, GTM, Business Intelligence).
- Strong knowledge of EU customs and dual-use regulations (e.g., 428/2009), ECCN, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
