? DevOps Technical Lead – Cloud & Platform Engineering

Are you ready to lead the evolution of modern infrastructure and empower engineering teams to deliver at scale?
We’re looking for a DevOps Technical Lead who will shape the future of our cloud and on-prem platforms, ensuring they are resilient, scalable, and developer-friendly.

This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, combining aspects of Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Software Development. You’ll drive automation, scalability, and reliability while mentoring engineers and partnering with product and business teams.

? Core Responsibilities

⚙ Platform & DevOps Leadership – Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, developer platforms, and automation frameworks that enable fast, reliable software delivery.

? Advanced Technical Problem Solving – Lead resolution of complex incidents across infra and applications. Bring strong debugging skills spanning code, systems, and networks.

? Observability & Resilience – Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and system health across hybrid environments.

? Infrastructure as Code – Drive adoption of Terraform/Ansible (or similar) and GitOps practices to manage cloud and on-prem resources.

? Automation & Efficiency – Eliminate toil by building tools, automations, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.

? Reliability & Risk Management – Define SLAs/SLOs, improve operational resilience, and support disaster recovery & business continuity strategies.

? Capacity & Scalability Planning – Partner with product and engineering leads to ensure platforms are prepared for growth and performance demands.

? Strategic & Leadership Dimensions

Technical Strategy & Roadmap – Influence technology direction and platform architecture aligned with business needs.

Team Growth & Mentoring – Lead and coach engineers (DevOps, SRE, and software engineers) while fostering a culture of learning and ownership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with software development teams, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, automated solutions.

Governance & Control – Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry best practices.

POŽADAVKY:
✅ What you should already have

Strong experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering in a leadership or senior technical role.

Proven ability to work across cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid environments.

Key technologies & skills:

Linux/Unix systems expertise with scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)

Containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)

Monitoring & observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Geneos, etc.)

Databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle)

Familiarity with ITIL practices and strong incident/problem management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
