Skills and Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role. 
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Strong scripting experience in Python and Bash. 
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD (ideally with Bitbucket). 
• Strong grasp of cloud monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices. 
• Working knowledge of cloud security principles. 
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and calm under pressure. 
• Strong communicator and effective team collaborator. 
• Excellent command of English with exceptional communication skills. 
• Strong expertise in SharePoint Online administration. 
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Azure environments. 
• Hands-on knowledge of Office 365 administration. 
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VPN solutions. 
• Familiarity with C#, Blazor, and MSSQL for web application development or willingness to  learn and apply these skills. 

Desirable

• Experience implementing best practices across organizations. 
• Experience with large datasets and Earth Observation (EO) imagery processing infrastructure.Familiarity with Docker Background in real-time data pipelines or geospatial data workflows.

Job Description 

This role will be hybrid, working alongside our European offices in Dublin, Belfast, London, Poland and  Romania on our core products and major customer solutions. Skytek is looking for an exceptional DevOps / Site Reliability with an understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a  business-wide level and looking for an opportunity to grow.  

The professional will work as part of a small and agile team of like-minded colleagues and you will be based around Europe. The successful candidate will be integral in maintaining financial accurancy  and supporting companys strategic goals.
