• Strong communicator, able to explain technical detail in non-technical language
• 3+ years’ hands-on experience in data engineering or equivalent role
• Proficient in Apache Spark with Scala for large-scale data processing, ETL, and optimization
• Skilled in building and deploying production-grade batch data systems
• Experienced with modern DevOps tooling (Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus) and Agile practices
• Knowledgeable in testing frameworks (e.g. ScalaTest) and test types (unit, integration)
