Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an ongoing QlikView to Power BI migration project. This is a short-term, fully remote opportunity to work with an international team (Finnish-Czech). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and working with BI tools.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the migration process from QlikView to Power BI
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data transformation
• Collaborate with the team to integrate data sources and maintain data integrity
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs
• Ensure data quality, security, and performance across all solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in data engineering and ETL processes
• Hands-on experience with QlikView and Power BI
• Experience with Tableau BI tool 
• Experience with Google BigQuery or Snowflake DW environments
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Experience with data modeling and performance optimization
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Communicative level of English (international team collaboration)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure Data Services or other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data processing
• Previous experience in short-term data migration projects
