INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE COATINGS CZECH REPUBLIC a.s. is looking for an employee for the position: COMPLIANCE OFFICER. IAC is a world leader in the field of aircraft painting, interiors, and graphics. With 10 state-of-the-art facilities in the USA and Europe, IAC has the capacity for 36 aircraft lines and processes over 700 painting events annually. IAC operates in all segments of the aviation industry, including OEM, commercial, military, and general aviation. The European headquarters is located at Shannon Airport, County Clare, Ireland, with the American headquarters in Irvine, California.
Place to work on this position is Mošnov.
Náplň práce:
Quality General
- To ensure compliance to international standard and legislation.
- Auditing against required international standards and regulations.
- Hosting regulatory (NAA), Accreditation bodies and customer audits.
- Writing/amending Company procedures and documentation.
- Root cause and trend analysis.
- Management of Company document library.
- Issuing company Authorisations.
- Conducting internal investigations to maintenance errors (MEDA).
- Conducting Mandatory Occurrence Report investigations.
- Delivery of Quality and Safety related training.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of continuous improvement objectives and initiatives.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the Company Directors.
- Deputises for the Quality Manager/Director as required.
Environmental General
- Managing all aspects of companys compliance in line with statutory regulations.
- Monitoring all current and emerging EHS regulations and developing strategies/programs to ensure compliance.
- Developing and maintaining the companys EHS management systems and internal policies & procedures in accordance with standards such as ISO14001.
- Optimise and develop programs to reduce environmental, health and safety risks.
- Developing an in depth understanding of technical processes and methods used throughout company operations.
- Maintaining knowledge of the waste industry best practice and other standards in health and safety domains.
- Build an in-depth understanding of EHS operational practices and implement new systems and processes in an accurate, timely and efficient way.
- Evaluation of processes, systems and equipment for EHS impacts.
- Developing with site management, measures including, risk assessments and health & safety plans to assure personnel safety on site.
- Liaising with external authorities such as EPA, HAS, Local Authorities on EHS related matters and site visits, audits, accident investigations etc.
- Represent the Company during outside Agency Audits/Inspections.
H&S General
- Implementing and updating Health & Safety plans and procedures for the group as required.
- Update and maintain Health and Safety procedures and a comprehensive Safety Statement for the Group in compliance with Regulatory requirement.
- Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
- Conduct H&S Investigations.
- Advising Managers on Health & Safety initiatives relevant to their department.
- Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Authority (HSA) legislation and any developments that affect the industry.
- Improve the health and safety culture, through training and awareness.
Co od Vás očekáváme:
- Qualification in Quality, Safety, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge and experience of EASA Regulations.
- Experience of Quality Management System in EASA Part 145 and Part M environments.
- Experience in Production organisation procedures, preferably EASA Part 21 G.
- Experience in Design organisation procedures, preferably EASA Part 21 J.
- Experience with QMS ISO EN 9100.
- Professional competence in risk prevention according to Act No. 309/2006 Coll
- Good working knowledge and experience of Czech environmental, health and safety regulations/legislation.
- Experience with Environmental Management ISO 14001.
