What Your Role Will Involve:
* Legislative Monitoring: Actively monitor updates in Czech and EU laws, decrees, and regulations.
* Employee Training: Organize and conduct training on new internal processes and regulations.
* Management of Internal Regulations: Maintain an updated database of internal regulations reflecting legislative changes.
* Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for internal needs.
* Compliance Checks: Conduct various compliance checks.
* Cooperation with Audit: Actively participate in external and internal audit checks and fulfill audit measures.
What Your Legal Role Will Mainly Involve:
* Provide legal advice and support for venture capital transactions and on corporate governance and compliance issues.
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal external and internal legal documentation, such as investment and loan documentation, term sheets, service contracts and NDAs.
* Participate on due diligence on potential investments and ensure legal compliance.
* Liaise with external legal advisors to support complex transactions.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
* Education: University degree, preferably in Law or Economics.
* Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the regulatory and legal environment.
* Work Habits: Ability to learn quickly, attention to detail and problem solving skills, proactive approach and motivated to continue professional development.
* Experience: Experience with internal audit / compliance is a significant advantage.
* Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent abilities in both areas.
* Computer Skills: Professional proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in Czech and English, both written and verbal.
