Who You Are

• A C# developer with 3+ years of experience for Mid/Regular or 6+ years for Senior position who enjoys building reliable systems and tools.
• Familiar with (or eager to learn) infrastructure concepts — from Windows server administration to infrastructure automation.
• Comfortable working in large-scale production environments, with a strong focus on stability, performance, and automation.
• Experience with scripting and automating operational tasks using PowerShell or similar.
• Bonus: Experience working with SharePoint, Adobe InDesign, or content processing pipelines.
• Bonus: Knowledge of GCP, container orchestration (Kubernetes), or Linux package management (e.g., RPM, UBI-based images).

About the Team

The Conversion Infra team powers one of Box’s most critical experiences: high-fidelity document previews. Our platform processes billions of files to enable seamless previews, intelligent search, and AI-powered features — all with Box’s enterprise-grade standards for security, performance, and scale.

At the heart of this platform is a large-scale Windows-based infrastructure, built to handle content from sources like SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and more. As we modernize and scale our systems in the cloud (GCP), we’re focused on automation, reliability, and performance optimization.

About the Role

We’re looking for a C# / Infrastructure Engineer who sits at the intersection of software development and platform operations. This is a unique opportunity for a C# developer who wants to go beyond pure application code and get hands-on with infrastructure — or for someone already in a hybrid role who enjoys the breadth of owning both code and systems.

You’ll help maintain and evolve our document conversion platform, with a focus on our Windows-based processing fleet, while also contributing to C# development projects, automation tooling, and cloud infrastructure.
