Technical experience and skills:
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation (creation of user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria in AzureDevops)
- Experience in accounting/payroll/financial reporting processes (e.g., GL, AR/AP, VAT, payroll)
- Understanding of process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML)
- (Optional) Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP FI/CO, Dynamics)
Nice to have:
- Experience working in the finance or consulting sector
- Proficiency in working with tools like JIRA, Confluence,
- Awareness of UAT, system validation and test planning
- Experience with SQL or querying tools
Soft skills:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Structured thinking, problem-solving mindset
- Fluent English (min. B2+);
Position overview: We are looking for a Business Consultant to support the development of accounting and financial systems for a Dutch client. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing financial and accounting requirements, translating them into functional specifications and documentation that supports development and business goals.
