AR Accountant with Finnish Language

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant fluent in Finnish. The position is open for immediate onboarding, with a preference for starting by mid-February. The team comprises five members, including a team leader and a manager.

- Process bank statements, including accounting entries for incoming and outgoing payments and allocating them to customer/vendor accounts.
- Monitor and address open items on customer accounts; resolve errors when possible or coordinate with relevant departments.
- Respond to email inquiries from internal clients in Finnish and English.
- Handle phone communications with external clients in Finnish.
- Prepare and verify manual payment requests, including payment returns.
- Collaborate on reconciliations, ad-hoc reporting, and investigations.
- Support month-end and closing activities (e.g., reconciliations, reporting, investigations).
Požadujeme:
- Proficiency in Finnish (daily communication required).
- Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAP) is beneficial.
