Application Support Engineer - Support Line 2 @ ITMAGINATION

• 5+ years of experience in an L2 Application Support role
  
• Experience working with EMR systems, particularly EPIC and HL7 interface standards
  
• Experience working with Hospitals IT departments
  
• Knowledge of ITIL standards
  
• Familiarity with network monitoring and logging platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, ELK Stack)
  
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, PowerShell)
  
• Working knowledge of cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks, load balancers, VPNs)
  
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and container networking (Docker/Kubernetes)
  
• Understanding of network security principles, HIPAA requirements, encryption (TLS), and VPN tunneling
  
• Familiarity with endpoint protection, NAC, and zero-trust architecture
  
• Excellent English skills

Nice to have:

• Networking skills and certifications - CCNA or higher, along with Juniper, Aruba, or other vendor-specific certifications
