An ideal candidate would bring most of the following:

• Strong skills in researching, prototyping, and implementing algorithms (AI or otherwise)
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience working within a software engineering team
• Solid knowledge of Generative AI concepts (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG, agents, fine-tuning) and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangSmith, LangGraph)
• Broader ML knowledge beyond generative AI
• Proficiency with data science tools and techniques (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, notebooks, streamlit, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with data engineering tools & distributed systems (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Kafka)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Experience working in a product-oriented, fast-moving company
• Degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• Passion for technology, product, user experience, and delivering high-quality solutions
• Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and learning orientation

Our client is seeking an AI Engineer to strengthen their AI innovation and delivery capabilities, with a particular focus on language-based Generative AI.

The role covers the full AI capability lifecycle:

• Identifying relevant new AI capabilities
• Presenting ideas to the product team
• Facilitating internal learning and understanding
• Prototyping new features
• Specifying, developing, and maintaining production-level AI solutions (in collaboration with engineers and the wider product team)

You will collaborate with consultants, engineers, designers, product specialists, and salespeople to bring solutions from ideation through deployment to value.
