You will join the process of rolling out AI coding tools to ~300 technologists across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The team is starting with Cursor and Claude Code, to help engineers migrate from incumbent IDEs (Visual Studio for C++ on Windows, IntelliJ, PyCharm, WebStorm) and make these tools part of their day-to-day workflow. 

This fully remote contract role requires meaningful overlap with New York and London time zones, and it requires occasional direct contact with Asian and Australian teams.

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years in developer productivity/DevEx, platform engineering, AI engineering, or application engineering with Node.js/TypeScript or Python (and willingness to branch into the other).
• 1+ year hands-on with AI coding tools; specifically ≥1 year with Cursor (or a close equivalent) and practical experience with Claude Code.
• Strong troubleshooting across IDEs, LSPs, build tools, dependency managers, and SCM;
• Comfortable in enterprise network environments (HTTP proxies, TLS/mitm, certificates, env configuration).
• Experience building small services/CLIs/automations; clean, observable code in Node.js/TypeScript or Python.
• Clear, practical technical writing (playbooks, FAQs, “golden path” docs) and crisp verbal communication with engineers and security partners.
• Data-driven mindset: define metrics, instrument responsibly, and close the loop with recommendations.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with MCP servers or similar extension/plugin ecosystems; familiarity with Anthropic tooling.
• Exposure to Java and/or C++ (helpful for teams migrating from IntelliJ/Visual Studio).
• Experience operating in regulated or security-conscious environments; finance domain is a plus.
