• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years working with cryptocurrency systems or trading systemsDemonstrated track record of building and operating production systems at scale
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one of: Python (async/asyncio), Go, Rust, or C++
• Deep understanding of concurrency, async programming, and memory management
• Experience integrating with cryptocurrency exchange or similar APIs (REST and WebSocket)
• Direct experience with cryptocurrency exchanges
• Experience building real-time systems with strict latency requirements (<100ms processing)
• Understanding of performance profiling and optimization
• Knowledge of order books, market microstructure, trading fees, slippage, and execution algorithms
• Experience with trading systems or financial data processing
• Proficiency with databases for trade history and analytics (time-series databases preferred)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, failure modes, and recovery patterns
• Exceptional debugging skills for complex distributed systems
• Ability to reason about race conditions, deadlocks, and concurrency issues
