We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to make Rossum’s AI-powered document processing platform seamlessly connect with our customers’ systems and workflows.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Designing and developing integrations between Rossum and third-party enterprise platforms.

* Improving our API capabilities and building middleware for scale.

* Working closely with customers and internal teams to understand use cases and deliver tailored solutions.

* Ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability of all integration components.

* Contributing to cross-functional efforts to enhance automation and data flow.

We value pragmatic problem-solving, clean and maintainable code, and building solutions that scale with customer needs. You’ll work closely with our Product, Platform, and Customer Success teams to ensure integrations deliver real value — fast.

This role is key to fulfilling Rossum’s mission: eliminating manual data entry through intelligent automation.

You should apply if:

* You’ve built and maintained integrations with enterprise systems like ERPs or CRMs.

* You’re comfortable with Python (FastAPI, Flask) and working with RESTful APIs.

* You have experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), webhooks, and event-driven systems.

* You understand cloud platforms and have hands-on experience with infrastructure automation.

Bonus if you’ve worked with SaaS products, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), or tools like Terraform and GitOps workflows — but not a deal-breaker.
