What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of experience with high traffic applications and complex infrastructure
• Experience translating AWS well-architected principles into action
• Hands-on AWS experience (EKS, ALB, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, etc)
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Willingness to work with Pulumi (Javascript/Typescript) as our preferred IaC toolkit
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx and Apache
• Prior experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g. BitBucket Pipelines)
• Familiarity with AWS security tools (GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Security Hub, etc)
• Experience with APMs and logging (e.g. Sentry, DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. bash, Python)
• Solid understanding of Linux administration and networking (e.g. HTTP/2)
• Experience working in environments with microservice and serverless architectures
• Experience working with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to interact with 3rd party support
• Highly organized and responsive
• Willingness to be on-call for critical incidents
• Upper-Intermediate English
